The Britax Pavilion G4 is a sleek and stylish convertible car seat equipped with True Side Impact Technology and a host of other extraordinary safety features to keep your little one protected on the go. It has integrated steel bars to enhance the Britax Pavilion Convertible Car Seat's connection to your car. Designed to grow with your child, this car seat accommodates children weighing 25 to 65 pound in the front facing position and 5 to 40 pounds in the rear facing mode. The Pavilion's maximum child standing height is 49 inches.
Ease-of-Use
- This convertible car seat is designed with both the child and parent in mind. Installing the seat into your vehicle is very easy thanks to premium lower LATCH connectors that also offer easy release with the push of a button. Placing your child into the car seat is just as easy as installing the seat into the car thanks to the EZ-Buckle System and Harness Holders that keep harness straps out of the way when placing the child into the car seat.
- You do not have to worry whether the harness is within the range of optimal snugness thanks to the Click & Safe Snug harness indicators that offers an audible aid. The straps have built in Lock-Offs that ensures shoulder belt installation with maximum ease and a snag lap.
- The seat's 10-position, quick-adjust harness automatically re-positions harness shoulder height as your child grows without the need to disassemble the harness straps.
- The seat has an easy-to remove cover that allows for easy cleaning – without having to uninstall the car seat or disassemble the harness.
Comfortable
One of the first things that draw the eye when looking at the Britax Pavilion car seat is the grey outline on the harness. This is called the HUGS (Harness Ultra-Guard System) and it consists of chest straps padded with SafeCell Technology to ensure optimal positioning for the child's comfort. The child seat is lined with high density comfort foam that provides an extra layer of padding to gently cushion your child. The seat can be reclined whether the child I in front or rear facing position for optimal child positioning and comfort.

Safety
The Britax pavilion car seat's base comes equipped with SafeCell Technology. This is designed to compress in the event of a crash, significantly lowering the child's center of gravity and counteracts the child seat's forward rotation that would otherwise propel the child into the fort seat. It's not different with Britax Marathon G4.
The convertible car seat has an Anti-Slip, Contoured Base that grips and protects the vehicle seat while offering optimum vehicle fit and minimizing the seat's forward flexing in a crash. The energy absorbing Versa-Tether used features a stage-released tether webbing that slows forward movement, minimizing the crash forces reaching your child, while keeping the child seat anchored.
Moreover, the seat was designed with True Side Impact Protection technology that offers a head restraint consisting of an extra layer of energy absorbing EPA foam. This keeps the neck, head and spine aligned. The protection also consists of deep side walls that are lined with EPP to shield the child from vehicle intrusion, distribute crash forces and contain the neck, head and body.
A Tangle-Free, 5-Point Harness distributes crash forces across the body's strongest parts and provides a secure fit. The seat is certified for Air travel.
Quality/Durability
The Britax Pavilion is entirely assembled in the United States and offers a minimum seven year service. It was crafted with a sturdy steel frame and a tough, tear resistant; yet smooth outer hand washable fabric that can last as long as the frame.

How To Install a Britax Pavilion Convertible Car Seat

- It may be awhile before the child can benefits from two of the Pavilion's best features; the new hug pads and seated shoulder height indicator. This is because both features can only be used in the front facing position meaning the child has to first outgrow the rear facing position.
